The D7 Visa is intended to obtain a residence permit in Portugal for citizens of a third country who are:

• Pensioners
• People living on their own income
• People who perform religious functions

The applicant must obtain a Visa to enter Portuguese territory and obtain the corresponding residence permit.

Simultaneously the applicant can apply for a residence visa for his family members, under the residence permit for family reunion.
